If your bathroom has a stand-up shower but no built-in bathtub, a portable tub may provide a separate option for soaking. The adult models below fold for storage and are described as suitable for hot soaking and cold plunges, but they are not shower-tub combinations and do not replace a shower. The larger 45.3-inch model offers more length, while the compact adult tubs are designed for smaller storage spaces. A collapsible toddler tub is included only as a child-specific option.

Portable Bathtub, 45.3 Inches
This foldable adult tub measures 45.3 by 23.6 by 19.7 inches. Its listed features include six-layer insulation, six support pillars, and use for hot soaking or ice baths. It takes a few minutes to install, according to the product information.
Best for: Adults who want a longer portable soaking tub and have room to set it up. The support pillars are a useful distinction for shoppers prioritizing a supported structure. Choose this if the listed dimensions fit your shower area or another setup location.
Limitation: It requires installation and is not a permanent shower-tub unit. Check the available floor space and the tub’s filled weight requirements before use; those details are not provided here.
Foldable Adult Tub, 25.9 By 31.5 Inches
This black portable tub is listed at 25.9 by 31.5 inches. Its product information describes a seven-layer insulated construction using waterproof PVC, reinforced polyester mesh, insulation boards, and foam. It is intended for hot soaking and cold-plunge use, unfolds without inflation or installation, and folds for storage.
Best for: Buyers who want a foldable adult tub for either hot or cold water and prefer a setup described as ready to unfold. It may suit bathrooms where a permanent tub is not available, provided there is enough safe space to use it.
Limitation: The listed dimensions are compact compared with the 45.3-inch model. Confirm that the size suits your body and that the intended location can safely support a filled tub.
Lotus Foldable Adult Tub
This Lotus-colored version is listed at 25.9 by 31.5 inches and shares the adult model’s described seven-layer insulation, foldable design, and hot-soak or ice-bath use. The product information says it unfolds without assembly or inflation and folds down for storage.
Best for: Shoppers who want the listed 25.9-by-31.5-inch adult size and prefer this color. It was selected as another adult option with the same stated portable, dual-use features.
Limitation: The supplied details do not identify a functional difference from the black model. Compare the measurements and appearance rather than assuming a different capacity or performance.
Compact Foldable Adult Tub
This black adult tub is listed at 25.9 by 27.5 inches, making it smaller in one dimension than the other adult options in this group. Its features include seven-layer insulation, a foldable structure, and use for hot soaks or cold plunges. It is described as requiring no assembly or inflation.
Best for: Buyers with limited storage or setup space who still want a portable adult tub. Choose this if its smaller listed footprint matters more than the extra length of the 31.5-inch models.
Limitation: A smaller tub may not suit every adult’s preferred soaking position. The product details do not give interior dimensions, so verify the fit before buying.
Collapsible Toddler Bathtub
This green collapsible tub is designed for children from 6 months to 6 years. It measures 31.5 by 25.6 by 9.85 inches when open and has a built-in drain plug, reinforced diagonal supports, and a wide base. It folds for storage and is cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth, according to the listing.
Best for: Caregivers seeking a child-specific bathing tub that can be stored when not in use. It is included as a separate family option, not as an adult substitute for a soaking tub.
Limitation: The stated age range and shallow dimensions make it unsuitable as an adult bathtub. It is not a shower-tub combo.
Buying Guide: Choosing a Tub For A Stand-Up Shower Bathroom
Are you looking for a shower-tub combination?
These products are portable tubs, not built-in tubs with showerheads. If you need to shower while standing and also bathe in a permanent tub, search for a shower-tub combo or a bathtub with a shower enclosure. A portable soaking tub is a separate bathing option and may need to be filled and drained outside the shower.
Will the tub fit the space?
Measure the intended setup area, doorway, and storage location. Compare those measurements with the product’s outside dimensions. The adult tubs in this list range from 25.9 by 27.5 inches to 45.3 by 23.6 inches, but listed dimensions do not establish interior soaking space.
Which features matter most?
- Storage: Foldable designs are intended to save space when not in use.
- Water temperature: The adult models are described for hot soaks and cold plunges; insulation details vary by listing.
- Setup: Some listings describe unfolding without assembly, while the longer model requires a few minutes of installation.
- Drainage and support: Check how the tub drains and how it stays stable. The toddler model lists a drain plug; the longer adult model lists six support pillars.
Can a floor support a filled portable tub?
Water is heavy, and a portable tub’s filled weight depends on its capacity and the user’s weight. The supplied product details do not provide total filled weight or confirm floor suitability. Check the manufacturer’s instructions and consider the bathroom floor’s load limits before filling a tub indoors.
