The best California king sheets with deep pockets depend on your mattress’s total height, including any topper or pad. For extra-tall beds up to 24 inches, the CGK six-piece sets are the broadest-fit options. DREAMCARE suits mattresses up to 21 inches and adds a useful fitted-sheet side pocket, while CozyLux also fits profiles up to 21 inches and includes four pillowcases. The standard CGK set fits up to about 16 inches, making it a better choice for less bulky beds.
| Sheet set | Best for | Maximum stated mattress depth |

| DREAMCARE, Gray | Storage pocket and snug fit | Up to 21 inches |
| CGK Extra Deep, White | Very thick beds in white | Up to 24 inches |
| CozyLux, 6-Piece | 21-inch beds needing four pillowcases | 18–21 inches |
| CGK, 4-Piece | Moderately deep mattresses | About 16 inches |
CGK Extra Deep California King Sheets, Grey
Best for: California king mattresses with a tall profile, pillow top, or substantial topper. This six-piece set is listed for mattresses 18 to 24 inches deep, giving it the broadest stated depth range among these options. Stretchable elastic around the fitted sheet is intended to help hold it in place.
The set includes four pillowcases with secure enclosures. Its listed uses include double pillow-top mattresses and beds with 3- or 4-inch toppers, making it a strong choice when ordinary fitted sheets are too shallow.
Limitation: It may be oversized for a shallow mattress; measure the full bed height before ordering to avoid excess fabric.
DREAMCARE Extra Deep Sheets With Side Pocket
Best for: Buyers who want a fitted-sheet storage pocket and a mattress no thicker than 21 inches. This four-piece set includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases. Its fully elasticized edge and smooth-fit corner strap are designed to provide a snug fit.
The fitted sheet has a side pocket for small items such as a phone, glasses, book, or remote. The sheets are made from brushed microfiber polyester, which the product description identifies as wrinkle- and fade-resistant.
Limitation: The stated fit is for mattresses up to 21 inches thick, so it is not the best match for beds deeper than that.
CGK Extra Deep California King Sheets, White
Best for: Shoppers who need the 18-to-24-inch depth range of the CGK extra-deep set in white. It is designed for extra-tall mattresses and beds with memory foam, pillow-top, or other bulky toppers. The six-piece set includes four pillowcases, and the fitted sheet has stretchable elastic around the edge.
Compared with the DREAMCARE and CozyLux sets, this option is better suited to beds that exceed 21 inches in total depth. It offers the same stated depth range as the grey CGK set, so the color is a key point of distinction.
Limitation: The product description does not state a separate fit for shallow mattresses; check your bed’s height before choosing an extra-deep sheet.
CozyLux 21-Inch Deep Pocket Sheet Set
Best for: California king beds with a measured profile between 18 and 21 inches, especially when four pillowcases are useful. This six-piece set includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and four king pillowcases with envelope closures. Elastic runs around the fitted-sheet opening.
The product specifies a 72-by-84-inch fitted sheet with a 21-inch pocket and recommends measuring the mattress together with any topper or pad. That clear fit range makes it easier to compare with deeper options.
Limitation: The listing warns that shallower mattresses may leave extra fabric and fit more loosely. It is also not specified for beds deeper than 21 inches.
CGK California King Sheets for Beds Up to 16 Inches
Best for: Buyers with a moderately deep mattress who do not need an extra-deep pocket. The four-piece set includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases. Its fitted sheet is listed to fit mattresses up to around 16 inches deep.
The product description characterizes the sheets as breathable, cooling, and silky soft. It is a more appropriate comparison for a bed that does not need the 18-to-24-inch range offered by the extra-deep CGK sets.
Limitation: Avoid this set if your mattress and bedding layers exceed about 16 inches; the stated depth is below the other deep-pocket choices here.
Buying Guide: How to Choose Deep-Pocket California King Sheets
How deep should California king sheet pockets be?
Measure the mattress from its base to the highest point, then include any mattress topper, pad, or pillow top that will remain on the bed. Choose a pocket depth that covers this total height. For example, the CGK extra-deep options state a range up to 24 inches, while DREAMCARE and CozyLux specify a maximum of 21 inches.
Do elastic and corner straps matter?
They can help the fitted sheet stay in position, but pocket depth still matters. DREAMCARE lists both an all-around elastic edge and a corner strap. CozyLux specifies elastic around the full opening, and the CGK extra-deep sets describe stretchable elastic. Compare these details alongside the actual mattress measurement.
How many pillowcases do you need?
Choose a four-pillowcase set if you use extra pillows or want spares. The CGK extra-deep and CozyLux sets include four pillowcases. DREAMCARE and the standard-depth CGK set include two, according to the supplied product details.
Is a deeper pocket always better?
No. A pocket that is much deeper than the mattress can leave excess fabric or a looser fit. CozyLux specifically cautions that its 18-to-21-inch design may fit shallow mattresses loosely. Match the pocket to the complete bed profile rather than choosing the largest depth by default.
