Buying Guide: How To Choose A Neon Sign
Do you need an exact 20-inch sign?
Among these five choices, the Neonawall product is explicitly described as 20 inches. Kavaas lists dimensions of 17.7 by 9.9 inches. The other listings offer customization or do not specify a fixed size in the supplied details. If the sign must fit a particular wall, backdrop, or shelf, confirm its final dimensions before checkout.
Should you choose custom or ready-made wording?
A ready-made phrase such as “Happy Birthday” or “Good Vibes Only” avoids the need to create a design. Custom options are better when you need a name, business logo, chosen wording, or specific color. Compare the available design choices and confirm spelling, font, and backboard details before submitting a custom order.
What should you check about power and brightness?
Power arrangements differ. Neonawall and Kavaas describe USB power, while CIONAOR lists a DC12V 5A adapter. Kavaas says its power adapter is not included. Dimming is described for Neonawall and CIONAOR; XYDECDRLUX lists it as optional. Check what comes with the selected product and whether the cord can reach your intended outlet or USB source.
Where will the sign be installed?
Consider whether you need a wall-mounted sign, a backdrop accent, or a piece that can sit on furniture. CIONAOR describes both hanging and tabletop placement, while XYDECDRLUX says mounting hardware is included. For other options, confirm the mounting method and included accessories in the listing. Match the sign’s dimensions to the available space.
