The best black shower faucet set depends on whether you need a shower-only fixture, a bathtub-and-shower combination, a handheld sprayer, or a valve included in the package. The Aolemi set suits buyers seeking an 8-inch rain head and handheld spray; Delta’s Arvo sets offer an integrated 2-in-1 shower head; and the Delta Modern trim kit is an option if you already have or plan to buy a compatible valve.
| Product | Best For | Valve |

| Delta Arvo Shower Set | Shower-only 2-in-1 spray | Included |

Aolemi Matte Black 8-Inch Shower Set
This Aolemi set is best for buyers who want both an overhead rain-style shower head and a separate handheld sprayer. The listed components include an 8-inch wall-mounted head, handheld spray, 59-inch hose, shower arm, holder, and cover plate. The head can be angled, and the handheld spray can help with targeted rinsing or cleaning bathroom corners.
The product information lists SUS304 stainless steel for the shower components and brass for the valve body. A pressure-balancing valve is designed to help maintain a steadier temperature when water pressure changes. Choose this set for its dual-spray format and included valve features. The listing does not specify additional spray modes, so buyers seeking multiple selectable settings should compare those details before choosing.
Delta Arvo Shower Set With In2ition
This shower-only Delta Arvo set is best for buyers who want a handheld spray docked within the shower head or used separately. Its In2ition 2-in-1 design combines the two functions, and the listing specifies four spray options: full body, massage, full body with massage, and pause. The MultiChoice Universal Shower Valve is included.
The included valve is described as compatible with most Delta shower trim kits, which may make later trim changes easier without opening the wall. Choose this model if an integrated handheld arrangement and valve-included package are priorities. The listed spray options are limited to four; buyers seeking other specialized modes should check the product details for available settings.
Delta Modern 14 Series Shower Trim
This Delta Modern set is best for a buyer who needs a shower trim kit and can source the rough-in valve separately. It includes a pressure-balanced valve cartridge, which the product information says balances hot and cold water pressure to help protect against sudden temperature changes. The listed shower spray is a forceful full-body spray.
Important limitation: the MultiChoice Universal Shower Valve is sold separately, so this is not a complete valve-and-trim package. The listing recommends rough-in valve model R10000-UNBX. Choose this option if a trim-only purchase fits your project; avoid it if you need the valve included in the same set.
Delta Nicoli Tub And Shower Set
The Delta Nicoli is best for buyers looking for a matte black bathtub-and-shower set with a handheld shower head. Its MultiChoice Universal Shower Valve is included, and the listed spray settings are full body, full body with massage, massage, shampoo rinse, shampoo rinse with massage, and pause. The pressure-balanced cartridge is intended to help limit sudden temperature changes.
Choose this set when the tub-and-shower format and several rinse settings match your needs. The supplied information identifies it as a bathtub shower faucet set but does not list the tub spout’s specific design or dimensions. Check the product details and your installation requirements before purchase.
Delta Arvo Tub Shower Set With In2ition
This Delta Arvo is best for buyers who want a bathtub-and-shower set with a handheld component integrated into the main shower head. The In2ition design lets the handheld spray operate separately or remain docked. The listing gives four spray options: full body, massage, full body with massage, and pause. The MultiChoice Universal Shower Valve is included.
Compared with the Delta Nicoli, this set emphasizes the dockable 2-in-1 head, while the Nicoli listing specifies six spray settings, including shampoo rinse modes. Choose the Arvo if the integrated handheld format is more important than those additional listed settings. Confirm the tub-side components and installation details against the product listing before ordering.
Buying Guide: How To Choose A Black Shower Faucet Set
Do you need a shower-only or tub-and-shower set?
Start with the fixture layout. The Aolemi, Delta Arvo shower set, and Delta Modern are presented as shower-focused options. The Nicoli and Arvo tub models are identified as bathtub-and-shower sets. Match the product type to your existing plumbing and the functions you want; do not assume a shower-only set includes tub components.
Is the valve included?
Check this before comparing finishes or spray features. The Aolemi and three Delta sets other than the Modern trim list a valve as included. The Delta Modern is a trim kit only, and its rough-in valve must be purchased separately. Confirm the required valve and installation fit with the product specifications or a qualified installer.
Which handheld and spray features matter?
A separate handheld sprayer can support targeted rinsing, while the Delta In2ition models dock the handheld within the main shower head. The Aolemi lists an 8-inch adjustable-angle head and a 59-inch hose. For selectable spray modes, compare the listed settings: the Arvo models specify four, the Nicoli specifies six, and the Modern lists a full-body spray.
What should you verify before ordering?
Confirm the matte black finish, package contents, valve requirements, and whether the product is intended for your shower or tub configuration. Review the listed dimensions and installation details where available. Product feature lists differ, so compare specific included components rather than assuming every set provides the same head, hose, valve, or spray options.
